Find out how your computer will act when the processor is under a lot of stress by using a Pylonos-developed CPU load emulator, the aptly named Stress Processor. It simulates CPU load so that you can evaluate your PC’s performance and see how programs work when the processor is under a lot of stress.

Stress Processor is compatible with 32- and 64-bit Windows editions, any edition from Windows XP up to Windows 10. A setup wizard will help you install Stress Processor on a PC powered by a supported Windows Edition. Stress Processor can be used for free for a trial period of 30 days.

When and why would you want to use Stress Processor? Pylonos was kind enough to highlight some scenarios: you want to see how programs would work on older PCs, you want to simulate limited CPU resources, you wan to find bugs caused by thread synchronization issues, you want to test your computer’s real performance, you simply want to slow down your PC.

The reasons why you would want to use Stress Processor may vary. But no matter why you want to use this CPU load emulator, one thing remains unchanged: Stress Processor is a very simple matter. You just have to set up the load parameters and then you must click the “Run CPU Stressing!” button from the lower right hand corner. You can play with the following load parameters: pause before starting stressing, stress time, stress threads priorities, base program priority, stress style, stress threads count.

Get Stress Processor, put your PC under a lot of stress, and see how your PC runs!

Pros

Stress Processor works with any Windows edition you can think of. Getting Stress Processor up and running is an effortless matter. Using Stress Processor is a simple 2-step process: set up the load parameters, run the stress test. You can play with multiple load parameters.

Cons

Trial limitations: 30-day trial.
